my name is astrid! i enjoy making films about transformation, unexpected moments of tenderness, injecting softness into visceral imagery, bodies, rocks, wage labor, queerness, food, and growing up.
in 2022, i made a film called Joyrider about a mother and daughter who spend the night in a chinese restaurant after losing their apartment.
this year i made a body horror film called Ultrabright. its about queer friendship and shooting stars and i need help finding a home for it.
im making a feature film about collecting rocks, going no contact with your ex, working in the service industry in nyc, love and flings that teach you nothing and everything. do you know a producer who can help me?
